The second full day at Sprachcamp saw both the Junior and Intermediate groups tackle the Jacob’s Ladder – a task that involves a lot of teamwork and English dialogue within the climbing teams. Both groups were up to the challenge though, with most team members successfully reaching the top. Good job campers!

Meanwhile the Senior group took to the indoor climbing wall in Oberstdorf. The boys had to refrain themselves from gorging on the wide array of protein-based products in between climbs, but just about managed and all took on some beasty routes. The girls held their own too, with Louis and Marie-Therese giving this account of the day:

„Today we went climbing in a climbing hall in Oberstdorf. We went to the wall by bus. Although the journey by bus down the valley was a bit long, the climbing and bouldering was really good fun. After the climbing our group went to Edeka as we kept to our contract of only speaking English and no potty mouth. We stocked up on sweets for the week! „
